Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Concord, NH, is seeking a facilities maintenance technician to keep our locations safe and well-maintained. You will regularly inspect facilities and equipment, assist with renovations and repairs, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform outside custodial duties.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic carpentry knowledge, and the ability to problem solve and multitask. If you are in recovery, a year of sobriety is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Innovative, strong worker with ability to problem solve and multitask.
• General knowledge of carpentry and repair.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect facility, equipment and property for defects.
• Assist with any building renovations/ repairs, both interior and exterior.
• Assist with any technical difficulties (video calls, internet service, equipment maintenance etc.).
• Perform outside custodial duties (gardening, snow removal etc.).
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists to ensure proper building and equipment maintenance.
