Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a maintenance technician to keep our facilities safe and well-maintained. You will inspect buildings, coordinate repairs, and handle various upkeep tasks across multiple locations.

The role requires hands-on skills in carpentry, problem solving, and the ability to multitask in a busy health-care environment. This on-site position offers stable hours and benefits as part of our growing team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Innovative, strong worker with ability to problem solve and multitask.
• General knowledge of carpentry and repair.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect facility, equipment and property for defects.
• Assist with any building renovations/ repairs, both interior and exterior.
• Assist with any technical difficulties (video calls, internet service, equipment maintenance etc.).
• Perform outside custodial duties (gardening, snow removal etc.).
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists to ensure proper building and equipment maintenance.
