Job summary

Live5812 in Columbus, OH is looking for Experienced Maintenance Technicians to join our 5812 Maintenance Team. You’ll perform preventative maintenance and repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances, helping deliver move-in ready apartments and ensure grounds are well-kept.

We value strong communication, reliability, and a service mindset. A HVAC certification is preferred, with driver’s license, transportation, and basic computer skills required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Maintenance Experience or trade school education.
• HVAC certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Driver’s License and valid car insurance.
• Personal, reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Basic computer skills; comfortable with apps and software.
• Possess basic hand tools or can acquire them.
• Service mentality and a thirst for learning.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Create excellence in customer service through ticket resolution.
• Execute duties in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Produce move-in ready apartments through renovations and repairs.
• General upkeep and cleanliness of the grounds.
• Assist in snow removal as necessary.
• Work on a rotating on call schedule.
• Perform other duties as required.
