LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH A GOOD AMOUNT OF ELECTRICAL, PNEUMATICS, HYDRAULICS, BOILERS, CHILLERS, HVAC AND PLC SYSTEMS
PAY: $30-$37

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Maintenance technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing tanks, pumps, powder blending equipment, Spray Dryer equipment and other equipment used in the production process. This role requires a proactive approach to equipment maintenance and an ability to efficiently manage work orders using computer systems.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Repairs and replaces faulty components, ensuring all equipment operates efficiently to minimize downtime
- Conducts routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on tanks, pumps, and other manufacturing equipment
- Creates, manages, and completes work orders using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts used, labor hours, and equipment performance
- Adheres to strict safety standards and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as FDA and GMP guidelines specific to the flavor manufacturing industry
- Collaborates with production staff to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to manufacturing operations
- Communicates effectively with team members and management regarding maintenance needs and project updates
- Maintains inventory of replacement parts and tools, ensuring adequate stock levels for maintenance tasks
- Assists in sourcing parts and materials as needed
- Participates in training programs and workshops to improve skills and knowledge of equipment maintenance practices
- Provides feedback and suggestions for improvements in maintenance processes and equipment performance
- Operates forklift, cherry picker, tools, and other machinery as necessary.
- Contributes to routine upkeep including cleaning internal areas of buildings, including light plumbing, light electrical, light roofing and general maintenance.
- Paints interior and exterior walls and trim.
- Maintains and repairs buildings' plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses.
- Works to schedule necessary outside service providers in relation to projects.
- Assists other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
