CERTIFIED Waste Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Anaheim, CA facility. This full-time role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of yard equipment to keep operations safe and efficient.

You will need strong mechanical aptitude, welding experience, and the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of daily-use equipment while upholding safety standards and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of maintenance, repair, or related technical experience.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general facility systems.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on recycling yard equipment and machinery.
  • Maintain and repair equipment such as forklifts, loaders, skid steers, balers, conveyors, compactors, trailers, roll-off bins, and other yard equipment.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations.
  • Conduct equipment setup, installation, and calibration as needed.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety standards and applicable regulations.
  • Perform welding and fabrication repairs on containers, trailers, structural components, and metal equipment.
  • Repairing and maintaining utility equipment such as trailers, forklifts, pumps, compressors, and generators.
  • Install, assemble, and test new equipment or machinery.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
  • Support operations teams to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.

About the Role:
