Job summary

LR Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Michigan with 1–3 years of general maintenance experience to perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry tasks. You will interact with residents while handling move-in/out inspections and preventative maintenance.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift 50 pounds, with weekend/on-call flexibility. A high school diploma or GED is required. LR Management offers solid benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in.
• Repairing and improving vacant and occupied apartments.
• Completing resident service requests in a timely manner.
• Accomplishing carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks.
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks.
• Conducting move in/move out inspections.
• Ensuring an adequate inventory level for required parts.
• Ensuring service shop is clean and organized.
• Assisting in the maintenance and cleanliness of the property's indoor common areas.
• Maintaining well-groomed grounds and building exteriors including trash pickup and snow removal.
• Adhering to established policies related to fair housing.

Our maintenance staff are key members of our property team who interact with our residents as they carry out general repairs and preventative maintenance which includes HVAC repair, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry.
