Job summary

LR Management is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our Michigan team. You will perform general apartment maintenance and preventative tasks, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry, to ensure quality service for residents.

The role requires 1–3 years of maintenance experience and a valid driver’s license. It is on-site with opportunities for growth and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of verifiable general maintenance experience.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Applicants must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including weekends and the ability to be on-call.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• The ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in
• Repairing and improving vacant and occupied apartments
• Completing resident service requests in a timely manner
• Accomplishing carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks
• Conducting move in/move out inspections
• Ensuring an adequate inventory level for required parts
• Ensuring service shop is clean and organized
• Assisting in the maintenance and cleanliness of the property’s indoor common areas
• Maintaining well-groomed grounds and building exteriors including, but not limited, to trash pickup and snow removal
• Adhering to established policies related to fair housing
