Job summary

LR Management Services is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our Michigan property management team. The successful candidate will perform general repairs and preventative maintenance, interact with residents, and work with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry tasks.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of verifiable general maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, including weekends and being on-call.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform full maintenance of apartments before new residents move in.
• Repair and improve vacant and occupied apartments.
• Complete resident service requests promptly.
• Handle carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks as needed.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks.

LR Management is looking for a dependable and hard-working individual with previous apartment maintenance experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be a team player, have a positive attitude along with being self-motivated and self-directed.

Our maintenance staff are key members of our property team who interact with our residents as they carry out general repairs and preventative maintenance which includes HVAC repair, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in
• Repairing and improving vacant and occupied apartments
• Completing resident service requests in a timely manner
• Accomplishing carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks
• Conducting move in/move out inspections
• Ensuring an adequate inventory level for required parts
• Ensuring service shop is clean and organized
• Assisting in the maintenance and cleanliness of the property's indoor common areas
• Maintaining well-groomed grounds and building exteriors including, but not limited, to trash pickup and snow removal
• Adhering to established policies related to fair housing
