Job summary

Waffle House, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service multiple restaurants in the Augusta, GA area. Responsibilities include installation and repair of restaurant and refrigeration equipment, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, and general building repairs.

The role requires hands-on skills, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team. Company benefits and a rotating on-call schedule accompany a 7am–5pm weekday work pattern.

Qualifications

• Basic plumbing knowledge.
• Basic building electrical wiring (low voltage and 120/208 volt, single and 3 phase).
• Use of small power/hand tools.
• HVAC repair for units up to 5 ton.
• EPA Universal Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair restaurant and refrigeration equipment.
• Electrical work including low voltage and 120/208V, single and 3 phase.
• Perform plumbing tasks as needed.
• Repair HVAC units up to 5 ton.
• Roof repair and replacement of doors, blinds, tiles.

JOB DETAILS

The Waffle House Maintenance Technician will be responsible for multiple restaurants in and around the geographical area. Job responsibilities will include installation and repair of restaurant and refrigeration equipment, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, roof repair and replacement of doors, blinds, tiles, etc.

Required Experience

• Basic Plumbing
• Basic building electrical wiring (low voltage and 120/208 volt, single and 3 phase service)
• Use of small power/hand tools
• HVAC repair for units up to 5 ton
• EPA Universal Certification
