Job summary

The Waffle House, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support multiple restaurants in the Durham, NC area. You will install and repair restaurant and refrigeration equipment and perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC work.

Responsibilities include roof repairs and replacement of doors, blinds, tiles, and other building elements as needed. This role requires basic trades skills and the ability to work independently within a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic plumbing
• Electrical wiring knowledge including low voltage and 120/208V (single/3-phase)
• Proficient with small power/hand tools
• HVAC repair for units up to 5 ton
• EPA Universal Certification holder

Responsibilities

• Install and repair refrigeration and restaurant equipment.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks.
• Repair roofs, doors, blinds, tiles and other building components as needed.

JOB DETAILS The Waffle House Maintenance Technician will be responsible for multiple restaurants in and around the geographical area. Job responsibilities will include installation and repair of restaurant and refrigeration equipment, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, roof repair and replacement of doors, blinds, tiles, etc.

Required Experience

• Basic Plumbing
• Basic building electrical wiring (low voltage and 120/208 volt, single and 3 phase service)
• Use of small power/hand tools
• HVAC repair for units up to 5 ton
• EPA Universal Certification
