Job summary

Waffle House, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service multiple restaurants in the surrounding Maryland area.

The role includes installing and repairing restaurant and refrigeration equipment, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, roof repair, and door and tile replacements. The technician should be skilled with basic plumbing and electrical systems, able to use small tools, and hold EPA Universal Certification.

Qualifications

• Basic plumbing knowledge is required.
• Experience with electrical wiring including low voltage and 120/208 volt systems is preferred.
• Ability to use small power/hand tools.
• HVAC repair experience for units up to 5 ton.
• EPA Universal Certification is required or can be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair restaurant and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform electrical work and basic plumbing tasks.
• Handle HVAC maintenance and roof repairs as needed.
• Replace doors, blinds, and tiles as part of preventive maintenance.

JOB DETAILS

The Waffle House Maintenance Technician will be responsible for multiple restaurants in and around the geographical area. Job responsibilities will include installation and repair of restaurant and refrigeration equipment, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, roof repair and replacement of doors, blinds, tiles, etc.

Required Experience

• Basic Plumbing
• Basic building electrical wiring (low voltage and 120/208 volt, single and 3 phase service)
• Use of small power/hand tools
• HVAC repair for units up to 5 ton
• EPA Universal Certification
