Job summary

Waffle House is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service multiple restaurants in and around the Houston area. You will install and repair restaurant and refrigeration equipment, perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC tasks, and handle roof repairs as needed.

The role requires detail orientation and the ability to work independently within a team. Our schedule is typically 7am–5pm, Monday to Friday with on-call weekends and holidays; company vehicle provided and eligibility for stock purchase

Qualifications

• Must have experience with installation and repair of restaurant equipment.
• Familiarity with refrigeration systems and HVAC tasks.
• Proficient with basic plumbing and electrical work.
• EPA Universal Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair restaurant and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform electrical, plumbing and HVAC maintenance.
• Handle roof repair and door, blinds and tile replacements as needed.
• Support multiple restaurants in and around the Houston area.

JOB DETAILS

The Waffle House Maintenance Technician will be responsible for multiple restaurants in and around the geographical area. Job responsibilities will include installation and repair of restaurant and refrigeration equipment, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, roof repair and replacement of doors, blinds, tiles, etc.

Required Experience

• Basic Plumbing
• Basic building electrical wiring (low voltage and 120/208 volt, single and 3 phase service)
• Use of small power/hand tools
• HVAC repair for units up to 5 ton
• EPA Universal Certification
