Job summary

Atrium Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Albuquerque Embassy Suites to perform preventative maintenance, assist with guest room care, and troubleshoot minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. The role also includes upkeep of pool systems and routine repairs of hotel equipment.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of general maintenance experience, physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required.
• Hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods.
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care.
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals.
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances.
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties.
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment.
