Job summary

IQ Resource Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team on 2nd shift in Waunakee, Wisconsin.

You will troubleshoot and repair production equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and support system upgrades to keep operations running smoothly. In this hands-on role, you'll work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, and conveyor systems, read blueprints, and document maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Trade school training or maintenance certifications preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and facility systems.
• Work on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, and conveyor systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues and minimize downtime.
• Assist with facility upkeep and repairs throughout the plant.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Help improve equipment performance and recommend upgrades.
• Complete maintenance records and PM documentation.
• Support continuous improvement and Kaizen activities.
• Coordinate with outside contractors when needed.
• Source and order replacement parts and supplies.

• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
• Experience with PLCs, welding, electrical, HVAC, hydraulics, or machining is a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various plant conditions
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Trade school training or maintenance certifications preferred
