Accelera in Milwaukee is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (6:00 PM–6:00 AM). You will repair, maintain, and troubleshoot a range of industrial systems to keep production running safely and at peak performance.

Use manuals and schematics, log work orders in CMMS, and follow Lockout/Tagout and safety protocols. Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting across multiple maintenance domains.
• Familiarity with CMMS for recording work orders and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team and lift up to 90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve malfunctions across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facility systems.
• Execute routine preventative maintenance to extend machinery life.
• Minimize production interruptions by troubleshooting and repairing equipment failures.
• Use manuals, schematics, and blueprints to guide repairs.

Industrial Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Compensation: $30 - $33 hourly

Shift Details: Overnight (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM) on a rotating schedule

Our Milwaukee manufacturing plant is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to bolster our night shift operations. You will focus on the repair, upkeep, and troubleshooting of diverse industrial systems, while actively contributing to production stability through proactive maintenance tasks and ongoing process enhancements.

Key Duties

• Identify and resolve malfunctions across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facility systems.
• Execute routine preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of manufacturing machinery and plant infrastructure.
• Minimize production interruptions by effectively troubleshooting and repairing equipment failures.
• Utilize technical manuals, electrical schematics, and mechanical blueprints to guide repair work.
• Ensure maintenance records are precise by logging all completed work orders within the CMMS platform.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area for the entire team.
• Adhere to all organizational safety protocols, specifically those regarding Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance staff to enhance overall equipment reliability.
• Promptly communicate any equipment malfunctions or safety risks to management.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing setting.
• Possession of a GED or high school diploma.
• Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting across various maintenance technical areas.
• Proven expertise in at least three of these disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Welding, or HVAC.
• Familiarity with operating and documenting tasks in a CMMS.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others or work autonomously.
• Must supply your own set of essential hand tools.
• Capacity to lift weights up to 90 lbs.
• Readiness to undergo necessary training for safety and equipment operation, such as aerial lifts, forklifts, and LOTO protocols.
