Job summary

Primient in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our highly automated, state-of-the-art facility. You will help ensure safe operation and perform installation, maintenance, and repairs across pumps, pipes, vessels, motors, and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or the equivalent.
• 3+ years of chemical or industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience working on hydraulic and pneumatic systems and troubleshooting issues.
• Knowledge of pumps, compressors, distillation systems, reactors, centrifuges, filtration and evaporation systems preferred.
• Experience working a rotating shift schedule.
• Able to communicate well verbally and orally.
• Must be well-organized, attentive to detail, and efficient.
• Able to demonstrate basic mathematics, reading comprehension, and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• You will help to ensure the safe operation of our process through a highly automated, state-of-the-art system.
• Plan, layout, and perform diversified installation, maintenance, and repair operations, as assigned to maintain the physical plant, machinery, equipment, and auxiliaries in proper operating condition.
• Work from drawings, P&IDs, sketches, diagrams, manuals, work orders, and oral instructions to install, adjust, repair, and perform maintenance duties.
• Maintain, adjust, install or repair physical assets included but not limited to: pumps, pipes, vessels, motors, conveyors, mills, etc.
• Use measuring and testing instruments and perform safety audits and training topics as part of daily duties.
