Job summary

UPS is seeking a skilled maintenance engineer to troubleshoot and calibrate plant floor equipment and ensure automated sortation systems operate at peak performance.

The role supports maintenance mechanics to resolve breakdowns, responds to alarms, and handles parts reception and inventory. A STEM degree and basic electrical/electronic knowledge are preferred, with strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (STEM) preferred.
• Troubleshooting, basic understanding of networks, motor control theory, and operation including basic AC and DC electrical troubleshooting preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and elementary diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Responds to internal customers through radio contact.
• Responds to facility alarms and emergencies.
• Troubleshoots problems that arise.
• Performs preventative maintenance on automated sortation equipment.
