Job summary

Nestlé Purina is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance of all plant systems, including facilities, unloading, processing, packing, and warehouse operations. You’ll troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment while always working in a safe manner.

Our Maintenance Technicians work in a climate-controlled shop and play a major role in machine reliability and process improvements across our plant, performing predictive maintenance and supporting uptime goals.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of plant systems: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation
• Electrical work with 120, 220, and 480 volt
• Troubleshoot electrical controls systems including motors and PLCs
• Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators
• Repair gear reducers and packaging equipment
• Maintain wastewater system, boiler operations, pumps, and general building needs
• Complete predictive maintenance such as vibration analysis and oil sample collection
