Job summary
Medline Industries in Utah seeks a maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair conveyors, automation, robotics, and related equipment to support production and quality.
The role requires hands-on experience with building and equipment maintenance, ability to work with CMMS, and willingness to lift heavy loads with potential travel up to 10%. Overtime may be required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience with conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment repair and maintenance.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on conveyors, automation, robotics and ancillary equipment as needed.
- Perform routine troubleshooting of assigned out of service equipment and correct issues, escalate as needed, and document issues in maintenance logs.
- Document all work in CMMS and maintain records of operating logs for fire pumps, generators, HVAC equipment, and other facility systems that are tested regularly.
- Perform root cause analysis of major downtime events.
- Assist maintenance mechanics and participate in facility/building projects.
- Assemble and test equipment to verify operation and analyze causes of production delays, implementing corrective actions.
