Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician in Columbus, GA to perform skilled maintenance on buildings, grounds, and common areas, ensuring safety and quality standards. You will diagnose issues, complete make-readies, manage materials, and document work orders while supporting cost-control efforts and on-site safety policies.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certification, a valid driver’s license for on-site vehicle use, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including on-call

Qualifications

• EPA Type I/II/Universal refrigerant certification required.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
• OSHA/safety training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance per policies and codes.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Track materials, return unused items, and notify supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities; assist with cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.
