Job summary

Carlisle Companies is seeking a Maintenance Tech III- CAM to maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and boiler systems across the facility. Expect a 40-hour week with 8–10 hour shifts, occasional overtime, and no travel. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and hands-on problem solving.

You will install, inspect, and repair equipment, assist with capital projects, and train junior technicians as needed. A strong mechanical background and PLC knowledge are required for this onsite position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 3–5 years related maintenance experience.
• Boiler operator certification or ability to obtain.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• PLC knowledge and troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Reassemble machines after repair or maintenance.
• Start machines and observe operation to detect problems.
• Inspect damaged parts and advise on repairs.
• Lubricate or apply materials per procedures.
• Install or replace machine parts per production specs.
• Dismantle machines for repair using hand tools, cranes, hoists.
• Record maintenance information and repair data.
• Read work orders and specifications to determine needed work.
• Set up and operate machines and adjust controls.
• Transport parts and tools between areas.
• Collect and dispose of worn parts to keep areas clean.
• Train Maintenance I & II as needed.
• Communicate machine issues to vendors/engineers for resolution.
• Audit preventative maintenance procedures.
