Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to handle complex work orders, mentor junior techs, and lead preventative maintenance efforts at our apartment communities. Candidates must have HVAC certification, and experience in electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and team leadership.

The role operates Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with on-call emergencies and occasional events.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in apartment maintenance or a skilled trade such as HVAC, plumbing, or electrical.
• EPA/HVAC certification or license.
• Valid driver’s license and CPO certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians on the team.
• Maintain building and common areas daily and manage preventative maintenance tasks.
• Support pool maintenance and other site operations as needed.
• Respond to on-call emergency service rotations as scheduled.
