Job summary

CCH is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician III for FAHA Manor in Sonoma, CA. The role supports daily maintenance, safety, and resident services, working with the Facilities team to ensure Quality Housing.

Responsibilities include performing repairs, handling work orders in Yardi, and coordinating with management. The position requires the ability to work indoors and outdoors and to respond to unplanned events with efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of two years as a Maintenance Tech or similar.
• Prior apartment maintenance or construction experience.
• Working knowledge of Yardi or similar program preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational, detail-oriented, and time-management abilities.
• Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in conduct.
• Background checks required after conditional offer.
• Driver's license not required; alternative transportation acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to caring and positive working and living environments for all employees and residents.
• Assist in enforcing safety regulations; identify hazards and report them.
• Perform custodial duties such as cleaning, mopping, trash removal, bulb replacement, etc.
• Maintain, diagnose, and repair building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC.
• Manage and prioritize work orders in Yardi with the Assistant Community and Community Managers.
• Monitor and replenish maintenance inventory within property budget.
• General carpentry to prepare apartments for move-in (cleaning, painting, repairs, etc.).
• Move furniture, supplies, and equipment; maintain inventory of tools and safety items.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings; coordinate with vendors as needed.
