CCH - (Christian Church Homes) is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Garberville, California. This full-time position oversees day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring property upkeep and safety while collaborating with the Property Management team.

A Maintenance Technician II oversees the day‑to‑day maintenance operations of assigned properties. The Maintenance Technician is a key member that ensures the upkeep and safety of the property and will jump in and work alongside the team. Work involves indoor and outdoor environments and flexibility to adapt to unplanned events, while remaining resourceful and efficient. Works in coordination with the Property Management team to ensure the maintenance teams deliver safe, appropriate and sanitary housing to all our residents. This is a full‑time position (30 hours/week), non‑exempt, Monday‑Thursday or Tuesday‑Friday schedule preferred.
This position will report directly to the Community Manager and does not have supervisory responsibilities.
CCH is committed to paying competitive wages. The salary range for this position is $22.85 – $27.00 in California and $20.00 – $24.20 outside of California. The majority of new hires are begun at the minimum of the range. This position is based at Carquinez Vista Manor, located at 1212 Wanda Street, Crockett, CA 94525.
Generally extensive physical exertion is required. Prolonged periods of walking, bending, climbing, manual manipulations and use of hand tools. Must be able to regularly lift, move and carry items over 50lbs. Physical demands also include continual sitting, typing, and repetitive computer use for up to 8 hours a day. The position also requires frequent communication with others, including hearing and speaking clearly with individuals and groups, in person and via phone and video calls.
