Job summary

Target is hiring an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 2 (MT2) in Michigan to install, maintain and repair automated material handling equipment across the supply chain facility.

You will perform preventive/predictive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and work with robotics, conveyors and ASRS. This role requires a high school diploma and a valid driver's license; shift is Tue-Fri 8:30pm–6:30am with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license for state employment.
• PC competency and ability to use handheld devices.
• Familiar with wiring diagrams and electrical measuring.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical and mechanical aspects of MHE on site.
• Adjust scanners, cameras, field buses, scales and printer applicators.
• Reset, repair, or replace components and wearing parts.
• Clean, lubricate, and calibrate equipment; follow safety procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot motors, relays, sensors and PLCs.
• Support basic electronics troubleshooting and robotics maintenance.
