Job summary

Signode Industrial Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to keep production running safely and efficiently. You will service and repair complex equipment, read schematics, and support preventive maintenance across hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

The role requires five years of hands-on mechanical experience, MIG/ARC welding skills, and the ability to interpret blueprints. Second and third shifts are available with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Five (5) years of mechanical technical hands-on experience.
Ability to read schematics, gauges, tools and instruments.
Experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, pumps, valves, cylinders, conveyors.
Experience welding with MIG and/or arc welding.
Industrial maintenance experience with repair and troubleshooting machine issues.
Forklift and scissor lift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical systems.
Read and interpret procedures, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders.
Inspect equipment during preventative maintenance and report findings.
Ensure productivity and quality after repairs, changeovers, and down time.
Complete work orders and update maintenance tracking system.
Respond quickly to safety issues and rectify dangers.
Communicate issues with group leaders/maintenance manager.
