Job summary

Signode Industrial Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems across multiple shifts. The role requires reading schematics, wiring control panels with PLCs, and applying NEC standards.

You will work on preventive maintenance, drive systems, and quality assurance while coordinating with supervisors to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

Minimum High School diploma or GED with electrical apprenticeship and/or vocational certificate in electricity.
Five years of electrical hands-on experience including wiring automation machine control panels and PLCs.
In-depth knowledge of electricity, troubleshooting including 480 volts.
Ability to read electrical schematics and apply NEC requirements.
Experience reading gauges and instruments for quality and repair; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
Analyze and repair equipment; assist with servicing more complex machinery.
Read blueprints, service manuals and work orders to perform maintenance tasks.
Inspect equipment during preventative maintenance and report findings.
Address electrical issues using drives and PLCs; ensure productivity and quality after repairs.
Complete work orders and update maintenance tracking system.
