Qualifications

2-3 years of experience in maintenance work including HVAC, plumbing and electrical knowledge.
Valid driver's license required.
Ability to work on-call in rotation with the team.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members.
Ability to read policies and procedures including maintenance-related ones.
Ability to identify cleaning chemicals; understands SDS and proper chemical use.
Knowledge of PPE and safe work practices.
Basic understanding of emergency systems and shutoffs.

Responsibilities

Diagnoses and repairs problems across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and major appliances.
Completes service requests in a timely manner per standards.
Ensures vacant apartments are rent-ready quickly; performs turnkey work as needed.
Conducts Preventative Maintenance on units and systems.
Assists in interior and exterior painting as needed.
Maintains safety culture and reports unsafe conditions.
Performs hot works (brazing, soldering, welding) per standards.
