Vivmark Residential in Seattle is seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to handle resident service requests, perform hands-on trades, and ensure market-ready apartments. You will also perform preventative maintenance and keep common areas well-maintained.

The role requires the ability to troubleshoot plumbing/electrical issues, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license. Weekend availability and physical stamina are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, and HVAC when applicable.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance if driving is needed.
• Strong written and verbal English communication for work-related tasks.
• Able to work weekends and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Use of smartphone for work-related updates and security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Address resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Perform hands-on maintenance tasks across trades (plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Prepare market-ready apartments and maintain grounds and common areas.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify repairs or replacements.
