Daybreak Foods in Eagle Grove, Iowa, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform major and minor repairs in an egg production and processing facility. The role focuses on maintenance during both non-production and production times to keep equipment running smoothly.

You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and document maintenance tasks, with emphasis on electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Strong safety practices and GMP adherence are essential in this role.

Formación

• High school diploma required; maintenance certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience in maintenance, preferably in food manufacturing or processing.
• Familiarity with GMPs and safety programs (Confined Space, LOTO, Hazcom, Hot Work).

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, operate and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Dismantle machines to replace defective parts and perform repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and replace filters.
• Record all maintenance and PM activities for tracking in PM programs.
• Fabrication and welding as needed for plant repairs and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment using test instruments.
