Job summary

Villa Sport Athletic Club in Katy, TX is hiring a facilities repair technician for full-time work at our club. You will perform maintenance on equipment and pools, following safety and quality standards while minimizing disruption to members and guests.

We value hands-on experience in handyman roles and prefer candidates with trade school training. A high school diploma or GED is required. The company offers benefits including a 401(k) match and complimentary club access.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Experience with exercise equipment and pools.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Able to read and follow checklists and instructions.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• CPO certificate preferred; must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Experience as handyman/repair technician with broad exposure to equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure repair and maintenance projects are completed on time.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards.
• Minimize impact on members and guests.
• Assist Facilities Director in maintaining fully operational facilities and equipment.
• Weekend/evening/holiday availability may be required.
