MITER Brands in Temecula, CA is seeking a maintenance technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills to support plant operations. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot PLC controlled CNCs, welders, and saws, and repair pumps and compressors while ensuring safety and quality.

This role requires up to five years of relevant experience, with preferred certifications in HVAC and college technical training.

• Up to five years of maintenance experience in electrical, mechanical, and related systems.
• Certification from college or technical school preferred; HVAC cert a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; troubleshoot complex equipment.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work under pressure.

Job DescriptionKEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:· Perform departmental activities per standard operating procedures.· Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including PLC controlled CNC’s, welders, and saws.· Maintain required written and electronic equipment logs.· Repair pumps, vacuum systems and compressors.· Responsible for planning work time to meet all needs of the plant.· Ability to work in adverse conditions safely.· Must be able to work any required schedule.· Accomplish routine preventative maintenance.· Modify existing equipment for new uses.· Fabricate new equipment.· Work with Production personnel to maintain and improve quality· Create and execute MPS objectives; meet MPS commitments and work within the guidelines of MPS.· Reflect Milgard business values and the Milgard Philosophy in all business interactions.· Adhere to safety policies and procedures related to all facets of job.· Proper usage of personal protective equipment.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees in this position.
