Job summary

Asbury Methodist Village, part of Asbury Communities, Inc., is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance upkeep, and routine building maintenance at our Gaithersburg campus.

This full-time role requires a minimum of 3 years in maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and a CFC certification or ability to obtain within 90 days. You’ll work Tuesday through Saturday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Minimum three years of progressive maintenance experience.
• CFC certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance incl. HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and building upkeep.
• Maintain laundry, kitchen equipment, domestic water, fire protection and alarm systems.
• Respond to work orders as directed by lead technician or supervisor.
• Document work in the maintenance management system.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-Time, 80 hours bi-weekly
• Available shifts: Tuesday - Saturday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and being available on call for after hour emergencies
• Pay Range $22.65 - $27.00 per hour

Job Description

• Performs general maintenance duties as it relates to troubleshooting and repair of multiple types of residential/commercial HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance equipment and routine building upkeep and repairs.
• Responsibilities also include general maintenance tasks on laundry, commercial kitchen equipment, domestic water, fire protection and alarm.
• Responds to residential work orders as directed by lead technician/supervisor.
• Utilizes maintenance management system software to document data including but not limited to work order completion, issue resolutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Minimum three (3) years of progressive experience in general maintenance required.
• CFC certification or ability to obtain within initial 90-days of hire.
