Job summary

Asbury Communities in Stroudsburg, PA seeks a full-time Maintenance staff member to manage routine tasks, perform minor repairs, and support residents. The role requires hands-on maintenance experience and the ability to handle electrical, plumbing, and painting tasks.

You will work with vendors to maintain service schedules and assist with resident appointments as needed. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with every other holiday.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of maintenance experience.
• Direct Care Staff Training Certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive and follow maintenance schedule and policies.
• Perform general maintenance tasks and minor repairs.
• Carry out alterations or additions as directed.
• Ensure community safety and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with maintenance vendors for service schedules.
• Have experience with electrical, plumbing and painting tasks.
• Assist with transport and resident appointments as needed.

Job Description

• Receives and follows maintenance schedule/instructions from Executive Director and as outlined in established maintenance policies and procedures.
• Performs general maintenance tasks.
• Performs minor repairs, alterations or additions in accordance with daily work assignments or as directed by supervisors.
• Ensures community safety and regulatory compliance
• Works with maintenance vendors to schedule and maintain service schedules.
• Should have some experience with electrical, plumbing and painting.
• Assists with transport/ resident appointments as needed

Qualifications

• Prefer 3-5years’ experience in a maintenance setting.
• Must obtain Direct Care Staff Training Certification (company will provide directives) within 30 days of hire.

Additional Information

Full Time Position

Pay is based on experience: $19 - 22 per hour.
