Job summary

Asbury Communities, Inc. in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. You will follow maintenance schedules, perform general upkeep, and tackle repairs across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

The role requires reading blueprints, using tools, and contributing to a safe, reliable campus. This full-time position offers daytime hours, a pay rate of $26.00 per hour, and benefits with opportunities for growth in a people-first

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2-5 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, HVAC, and other critical systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics. HVAC experience required.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues in a variety of systems and equipment.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, diagnostic instruments, and specialized equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.
• Valid driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Receives and follows maintenance schedule/instructions from supervisor and as outlined in established maintenance policies and procedures.
• Performs general maintenance tasks including snow removal.
• Performs minor repairs, alterations or additions in accordance with daily work assignments or as directed by supervisors.
• Completes minor carpentry repairs. Discard waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liner.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-Time Position- 40 hours a week
• Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm; every other weekend and holiday.
• Pay: $26.00/hour
