Job summary

Asbury Methodist Village is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, and respond to work orders in Montgomery County, MD. The role requires a valid driver’s license and a minimum of three years in general maintenance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive general maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• CFC certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance duties related to troubleshooting and repair of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related systems.
• Maintains laundry, commercial kitchen equipment, domestic water, fire protection and alarm systems.
• Responds to residential work orders as directed by lead technician/supervisor.
• Uses maintenance management software to document work orders and resolutions.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-Time, 80 hours bi-weekly
• Available shifts: Tuesday - Saturday, 7:30am - 4:00pm ORSunday through Thursday Evening shift,3:30pm-12:00am.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and being available on call for after hour emergencies
• Pay Range $22.65 - $27.00 per hour

Job Description

• Performs general maintenance duties as it relates to troubleshooting and repair of multiple types of residential/commercial HVAC, plumbing, electrical, applianceequipment and routine building upkeep and repairs.
• Responsibilities also include general maintenance tasks on laundry, commercial kitchen equipment, domestic water, fire protection and alarm.
• Responds to residential work orders as directed by lead technician/supervisor.
• Utilizes maintenance management system software to document data including but not limited to work order completion, issue resolutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Minimum three (3) years of progressive experience in general maintenance required.
• CFC certification or ability to obtain within initial 90-days of hire.
