Job summary
bioMérieux is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support manufacturing operations by performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems. The role emphasizes reliability, safety, and compliance within a regulated manufacturing environment.
The schedule is Monday–Friday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM with a night shift premium, with 2 months of on-day training before transitioning to the night shift.
Qualifications
- Two years of maintenance or related experience.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process-related equipment.
- Document maintenance activities in required systems.
- Manage spare parts inventory and assist with parts management.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team and manufacturing personnel to resolve issues.
- Escalate complex problems to senior technicians or leadership.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability.
- Adhere to safety, GMP, and quality policies.
