Job summary

Resilient Structures in Humble, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our maintenance team. This entry-level role supports daily maintenance across production equipment and facility systems, helping ensure safe, reliable plant operations through preventive tasks and basic repairs.

You will work with experienced technicians, use common hand and power tools, and participate in the Maintenance Hourly Progression System.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school, vocational training, or coursework in industrial maintenance is a plus.
• Typically 6 months–2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or related field.
• Ability to safely operate basic hand and power tools in an industrial setting.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts, including overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day maintenance activities across production equipment and facility systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to help ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Assist with basic mechanical repairs under the direction of senior maintenance technicians or supervisors.
• Safely use common hand and power tools to complete assigned work.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout requirements.
• Identify basic processing and manufacturing equipment used throughout the facility.
• Use standard and metric measurement tools for maintenance tasks and installations.
• Demonstrate craftsmanship, attention to detail, and quality in all work performed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.
• Work collaboratively with maintenance and production team members to support uptime and plant performance.
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development as part of the Maintenance Hourly Progression System.
