Our client, a leading Industrial Power Systems company,is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance organization supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical foundation, a commitment to safety and quality, and the drive to learn and grow in an industrial environment.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician I & II
Pay Range: $26.75-29.50
Shift:
1st- Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm
2nd- Mon-Fri 2-10:30pm
What's the Job?
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assembly equipment in production facilities building, following work orders and technical documentation as assigned and in a timely manner.
- Respond to service requests and work orders with limited supervision, helping keep production facilities operating without interruption.
- Support general building maintenance as directed, including tasks such as lamp replacement, simple construction, overhead doors, and plumbing.
- Complete basic electrical preventive maintenance on motors, lights, and electrical panels.
- Operate and maintain production equipment, including fork trucks, conveyors, robotic equipment, and related tools and equipment.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 2 years of related hands‑on maintenance experience in a manufacturing, operations, or high-volume facility, or a relevant certification or degree in lieu of experience.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools, and performing basic maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and inspections.
- Mechanical knowledge of basic machines and systems, including pneumatics, hydraulics, gears, reducers, bearings, lubrication theory, drive components, and equipment alignment.
- Familiarity with electronics such as photo sensors, PLCs, remote I/Os, servo drives, and variable frequency drives.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and building blueprints as well as electrical schematics.
