RS Utility Structures Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support day-to-day maintenance of production equipment and facility systems at our Humble, TX facility.

This entry-level role offers hands-on training within the Maintenance Hourly Progression System and opportunities to grow technical skills in a safety-focused environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, assist with basic repairs, and work with experienced technicians to ensure safe, reliable plant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training in maintenance or related field is a plus.
• 6 months–2 years of industrial maintenance experience recommended.
• Ability to safely operate basic hand and power tools.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day maintenance across production equipment and facility systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance for safe, efficient operations.
• Assist with basic mechanical repairs under supervision of senior technicians.
• Safely use hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout safety procedures.
• Identify basic equipment used throughout the facility.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve uptime.
• Participate in ongoing training as part of the Maintenance Hourly Progression System.
