Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. in a distribution facility is seeking a Maintenance Skilled Technician to install, maintain, and repair automated material handling equipment.

You will work with fellow technicians, validate work for outside contractors, and support material handling systems while meeting tight timelines. Your role involves troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, performing preventive/predictive maintenance, and applying safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years maintenance experience in a distribution, manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Valid driver's license.
• PC competency and ability to use mobile apps on handheld devices.
• Familiar with wiring diagrams, symbols and electrical measuring.
• Experience with work order management and preventive/predictive maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge of industrial controls and electronics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical aspects of MHE on site.
• Adjust scanners, cameras, field buses, scales and printer applicators.
• Repair or replace belts, chains, cables, guides, bearings, pulleys.
• Clean, lubricate, and calibrate equipment.
• Follow job plans, procedures, and manuals.
• Work with PLCs, relays, sensors and motor starters in routine maintenance.
• Support basic electronics and PLC troubleshooting.
• Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial robots.
• Create and close Work Orders with data on labor hours, downtime, causes and parts used.
