Job summary

Golden Nugget Laughlin is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance for our casino hotel facility. You will support carpentry, painting, drywall, and other building systems to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires basic knowledge of maintenance trades, a professional appearance, and strong communication skills. Benefits include PTO, 401K, and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all maintenance and repair of the facility.
• Repair of plumbing and related equipment (toilet replacement, leaks, etc.).
• Assist all trades: painters, engineers, electricians, welders, carpenters.
• Clean shops and sites; manage materials and waste.
• Work efficiently, independently and as a team to deliver quality results.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.

Overview

Performs routine repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently. Knowledge of carpentry, painting, drywall and texturing, hazardous chemicals and general and preventive maintenance a plus

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all maintenance and repair of the facility.
• Repair of plumbing and associated equipment i.e. toilet replacement, snake stopped drains, repair leaks in piping, faucets and drains.
• Assisting all trades: painters, engineers, electricians, welders, and carpenters.
• Cleaning of shops, trash, sweeping, picking materials up from job sites, etc.
• Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Related degree preferred or accredited certifications
• Minimum 2 years' experience
• Effective communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
