Job summary

LiDestri Foods is seeking a Mechanic/Electrician I to maintain production equipment with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and coordinate with shifts for changeovers to keep lines running efficiently.

You will work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, adhere to food-safety standards, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives while supporting safety and quality programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write and interpret English documents and manuals.
• Experience with electrical/mechanical maintenance in a production setting.

Responsibilities

• Setup, repair, install, and maintain machinery and equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic).
• Conduct preventive and planned maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical malfunctions and plan repairs.
• Coordinate with shifts to review schedules and changeovers.
• Ensure safety, quality, and GMP compliance in daily work.
• Assist with installation of new equipment and continuous improvements.
