Daybreak Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our egg production and processing facility in Ohio.

The role focuses on completing minor to major equipment repairs during non-production and production times of the day. Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing machinery, performing preventative maintenance, documenting work, and ensuring hygiene protocols are followed before operations resume.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and maintenance certification or equivalent experience.
• First Aid/CPR certification is required or obtainable.
• Prior maintenance experience, especially in food manufacturing or processing, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Dismantle machines to access parts and conduct repairs.
• Maintain and repair food processing equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and replace worn components.
• Handle basic electrical and plumbing tasks related to maintenance.
• Document all maintenance performed and notify supervisors.
• Identify required parts and communicate needs.
• Inform supervisors before maintenance in food handling areas.
• Clear tools and debris after work and ensure GMP compliance before operations resume.
