Job summary

Daybreak Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our egg production and processing facility. The role involves completing repairs from minor to major during non-production and production times to keep equipment running efficiently.

Key duties include diagnosing malfunctions, dismantling equipment to replace defective parts, and performing preventative maintenance. The candidate should have a high school diploma, maintenance certification or equivalent experience, and First Aid/CPR

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; maintenance certification preferred.
• Experience in maintenance, especially in food manufacturing, is desirable.
• First Aid/CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of safety programs such as Confined Space, LOTO and Hazcom is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Dismantle machines to access and remove defective parts for repair.
• Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on processing equipment.
• Handle plumbing and electrical tasks related to equipment installation.
• Document all maintenance work and notify supervisor of required parts.
• Ensure hygiene and sanitation protocols are followed before operations resume.
