Job summary

Daybreak Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our egg production and processing facility in Wisconsin.

This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment during non-production and production times. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, maintenance certification or equivalent, and is capable of working independently while ensuring GMP standards and safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma
• Maintenance certification or equivalent experience
• Must be able to obtain First Aid/CPR certification
• Previous experience in maintenance is required. Food Manufacturing or Processing desirable
• Safety programs and processes (Confined Space, LOTO, Hazcom, Hot Work, Electrical Safety)

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions
• Dismantle machines to access defective parts and perform repairs
• Maintain food processing equipment and perform preventative maintenance
• Document maintenance performed including PMs
• Notify supervisor of required parts or repairs
• Ensure hygiene before facility operations resumes
• Keep work area clean and safe
