Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read a depth gauge, calipers, micrometers, and tape measure for basic machining and fabricating.
• Ability to read ohms, amps, and volts and understand basic electrical measurements.
• Basic AC/DC motor knowledge, wiring and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to fabricate using electric arc, welder and cutting torch.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems with ability to troubleshoot and repair.
• Knowledge of drill press, grinders and band saws and troubleshooting pneumatic/hydraulic equipment such as valves, cylinders, and pumps.
• Understand bearings, shafts, pulleys, reductions, and distribution gearboxes, transmissions, etc.
• Understand NEMA codes.
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor.
