Job summary

Sanderson-Pipe-Corporation in Clarksville, TN seeks a Tech I to support extrusion line operations during a production shift. The role focuses on fabrication using electric arc, welding equipment, and cutting torches, and requires basic troubleshooting of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a depth gauge, calipers, micrometers, and tape measure for basic machining and fabricating.
• Ability to read ohms, amps, and volts and understand basic electrical measurements.
• Basic AC/DC motor knowledge, wiring and troubleshooting.

Job description

The Tech I position is normally assigned to a Production Shift to ensure the smooth efficient operation of the extrusion lines and all other mechanical mechanisms within the plant. Techs are to wear all PPE for protection against safety hazards.

• Must be able to fabricate using electric arc, welder and cutting torch.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems with ability to troubleshoot and repair.
