Job summary

Pacur Extrusion seeks a Maintenance Technician for the weekday night shift to service extrusion, packaging, and distribution lines. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including PLCs and VFDs, to keep equipment running efficiently.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, completion of a mechanical/electrician apprenticeship or related education, and a Journeyman Card; welding and fabrication skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Familiarity with reading schematics and NFPA 70E compliance recommended.
• Journeyman status or license required; collaborative team player.
• Experience with PLCs and industrial controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on extrusion equipment and packaging lines.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot AC/DC drives and motors; program PLCs and controls.
• Conduct root cause analysis to prevent repeat failures and improve uptime.
• Support building and grounds maintenance activities as needed.
• Communicate effectively with operations to resolve equipment issues and inefficiencies.
• Document maintenance performed and materials used during repairs.
