Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings USA is seeking a hands-on maintenance professional to keep a 24/7 extrusion plant running. You will handle breakdown responses, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement across electrical and mechanical systems.

The role requires basic PLC experience, comfort working independently, strong attention to detail, and the ability to document work in SAP. Welding skills are a plus, and the job operates on 12-hour or 9-hour shifts on-site.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical and electrical principles with hands-on tool use.
• Introductory PLC experience and basic programming knowledge.
• Comfort working independently and with a team.
• Detail oriented and organized; eager to learn.
• Welding/fabrication capabilities are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Keep a 24/7 extrusion plant running with breakdown response.
• Perform preventive maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Inspect utilities and power systems, including compressed air and water.
• Document fixes in SAP with work orders, labor, and materials.
• Lubrication, filter changes, oil changes, and motor/pump replacements.
• Maintain safety policies and housekeeping.
